status board pane — guide
Class:
guide· how to USE the Status board tab. What it IS: status-board-design.md. The badge itself: status-badge-guide.md.
The Status tab in dwarves-gui is a wall of pipeline-health badges — the UI surface of the dwarves badge verb.
Open it
cargo run -p dwarves-gui # native window → the `Status` tab
Each row shows a pipeline and a colour chip for its latest run: green passing · amber running · red failing · grey unknown (no run yet).
Expand a badge's SVG
Click a pipeline row (or drive {"select":"build"} over the JSON seam). The full, self-contained badge SVG expands below — the same bytes dwarves badge build prints and the Badge RPC returns. Copy it into a README or dashboard. Click again (or {"select":""}) to collapse.
Drive it headless (robot / test)
The pane answers over state_json / update_json, the same channel nornir-robotui and the thin gRPC client use:
// state_json
{ "kind": "status", "count": 7, "green_count": 3,
"badges": [ { "pipeline": "build", "status": "passing", "color": "#4c1", "found": true }, … ],
"selected": null, "selected_svg": null }
// update_json — expand build's SVG, then clear
{"select":"build"}
{"select":""}
The robot scenario robot_status_board_pane_matrix drives exactly this and emits the dwarves-gui / status_board_drivable testmatrix cell.
