facett-toast — crate card
Reverse-engineered (from source — verify, don't trust the name)
- One-line pitch: A pure-egui toast/snackbar overlay facet: timed notifications stacked in a corner.
- Does: Shows timed
Toasts(assignment, @mention, SLA breach) at aLevel, stacked in a corner and auto-dismissed by TTL. Host pushes viapush()/push_case(), advances time withtick(dt)(host-driven, never reads the clock, so deterministic), and drainstake_clicked_case(). The widget only shows what it's given — the digest/quiet-hours policy is the host's job. Facet contract (title/state_json); renders through an eguiContextoverlay. - Key deps: egui, serde/serde_json. Optional
facettfeature. - Shape: lib, ~208 LOC single lib.rs (Level, Toasts).
- Observed role in the workspace: Standalone overlay widget, no in-repo consumer yet. Built in ordning; destined for facett.

- Why it exists (vs the obvious alternative):
- Hard constraint (airgap / no-C-deps / no-FFI / pure-Rust / etc.):
- Release cadence & independence (rides a parent? own repo someday?):
- Status (production / prototype / experimental / stubbed):
- Must-NOT-change invariant:
- Biggest known gap or TODO:
- Anything a newcomer would get wrong about it:
