//! znippy xtask — host for the workspace's single benchmark suite.

//! There is no regression gate or local bench runner here (the old
//! `before_cratering.sh` was removed). The one source of truth for
//! benchmarks is the nornir bench example:

//! which `nornir bench run znippy` (or `nornir release`) subprocesses,
//! parsing its single `nornir::bench::BenchRun` JSON line into the
//! Iceberg `bench_runs` table. See `examples/nornir-bench.rs`.

//! This lib target exists only so the package has a target the example
//! can build against; it intentionally exports nothing.

//! # The `build` verb lives in `src/main.rs`, not here
//!
//! Added 2026-08-03: `cargo xtask build --suite ORIGINAL [--atom <name>]`,
//! whose whole body is `nornir_build_thing::suite_cli::run`. It is a
//! separate `[[bin]]` target deliberately — this lib is what the example
//! and the criterion bench link, and the build verb must not drag the
//! bench graph (arrow, parquet, io-uring, nornir) behind it. See
//! `src/main.rs` for why the verb exists at all.
